Meet Kristina
Hi, I'm Dr. Kristina Cervantes, founder of Elevate Literacy & Learning. For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of working alongside students, families, and educators as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, literacy specialist, educational consultant, and school administrator. Throughout my career, one thing has remained constant: I believe every student can succeed when they are given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow.
I founded Elevate Literacy & Learning because I wanted to create a place where learning is personal. Every child has unique strengths, challenges, and goals, and they deserve instruction that meets them where they are. Whether I'm providing literacy intervention, academic tutoring, homeschool coaching, or educational guidance, my goal is to help students build confidence, develop essential skills, and discover the joy of learning.
I earned my Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) because I am passionate about improving educational experiences for all learners, especially those who benefit from individualized instruction and meaningful relationships. My work has allowed me to support multilingual learners, struggling readers, and students with diverse learning needs, while also coaching teachers and school leaders to strengthen instruction and student outcomes.
